The Role As an IBM i Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for: • Administration and operation of IBM Power and IBM i environments • Management of LPARs, virtualization, HMC and VIOS • Maintaining infrastructure in operational condition (MCO / RUN) with high availability constraints • Installation, upgrade and maintenance of IBM i systems and related components • System monitoring, alerting, and incident resolution • Participation in PRA / DR exercises • Security hardening and compliance with infrastructure standards • Industrialization and automation of operating tasks • Contribution to infrastructure evolution and modernization initiatives • Technical support and guidance for projects running on IBM i platforms What We Offer • Long‑term position on strategic IBM i platforms • Technically strong environment with real infrastructure depth • Exposure to large‑scale, mission‑critical systems • Professional growth within IBM i and Power technologies Who You Are Technical Skills (Required) • Strong experience in IBM i (AS/400) system administration • Solid knowledge of IBM Power architecture • Hands‑on experience with: • LPAR management • HMC • VIOS • Operational knowledge of production environments with 24/7 constraints • Experience with monitoring and incident management • Good understanding of system security and operational best practices Technical Skills (Nice to Have) • PowerHA / availability mechanisms • Backup & recovery strategie
