Job Description Summary The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an OpenShift Senior Consultant to join us in Canberra, Australia. In this role, you will be a key driver in architecting and implementing enterprise-scale container solutions for our customers. You will not only apply your deep technical expertise in Red Hat OpenShift but also act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through their digital transformation journey
As a Senior Consultant, you will be at the forefront of modern cloud-native development. You will design and deploy sophisticated OpenShift environments, mentor customer teams, and ensure the successful adoption of DevOps and GitOps practices. Your work will have a direct and measurable impact, helping our customers build resilient, scalable, and secure application platforms

Primary Job Responsibilities Lead complex Red Hat Consulting engagements, taking ownership of the full project lifecycle from design and architecture to successful implementation
Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) at the client site, addressing strategic IT needs and complex technical challenges. Design and implement sophisticated OpenShift solutions that integrate with a customer's existing infrastructure, including networking, storage, security, and identity management. Mentor and guide customer teams on best practices for containerisation, application deployment, and OpenShift administration
Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows to automate application delivery and ensure a consistent, repeatable deployment process. Produce high-quality technical documentation, including architecture designs, operational runbooks, and project reports for both
