THE ROLE: The Japan Sales Director, based out of AMDs Tokyo offices, will play a key leadership role within the Japan and Regional Sales Organization. The Japan Commercial & Transformation Director will be focused on driving sales and growing market share for AMD based products across Server, Client, Pro Graphics and Embedded solutions in the local market. The successful applicant will manage the sales team and field resources in Japan and will be responsible for establishing the AMD sales strategy, partnerships and market approach to drive customer relationships and deliver revenue goals

They will achieve these goals through developing, mentoring and leading a high performance sales team. They will partner closely with cross functional internal teams such as Marketing, WW BU and WW account teams to help ensure AMD is well positioned in all sales opportunities. This person will be responsible for developing senior executive relationships within both end customer and partner organizations to place AMD in a strong position in the market to win against the competition and grow share significantly in Japan
