What you'll be doing? The Human Resources Manager (HRM) serves as a strategic partner to LAX location leadership, aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive performance, employee engagement, and operational effectiveness. The HRM provides expert guidance on workforce planning, organizational development, labor relations, talent management, and change initiatives while ensuring full compliance with employment laws and internal policies. This role balances both strategic advisory and hands-on HR operations within a union-represented environment

Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Partnership Collaborate closely with location leadership to understand business challenges and deliver proactive HR solutions aligned with organizational goals. Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing insights on talent, performance, organizational structure, and workforce optimization. Lead organizational change initiatives and support cultural transformation efforts

Use data and analytics to identify trends, guide decisions, and measure HR impact. Talent Management & Workforce Planning Partner with business leaders to assess, plan, and develop workforce capabilities. Support talent review and succession planning processes

Promote development initiatives including leadership coaching, mentoring, and career pathing. Employee Relations & Labor Relations Investigate and resolve employee relations issues with fairness and confidentiality. Serve as liaison between management and union representatives

Administer and interpret the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and ensure consistent application. Participate in grievance procedures, negotiations, and contract interpretation. Recruitment & Onboarding Lead full-cycle recruitment for LAX location, ensuring diverse and qualified talent pipelines

Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and job requisitions. Oversee the onboarding process and new hire orientation to support early employee engagement. Compens
