As a Senior Applied AI Engineer at Micron, you will apply advanced techniques and theories from mathematics, statistics, semiconductor physics, materials science, and information technology to uncover meaningful patterns in complex data—developing predictive models, actionable insights, and scalable solutions that drive business impact

You will partner with experienced Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Business Area Engineers, and UX teams to identify key questions and opportunities for data analysis, tool improvement, and new solution development. In this role, you will design and build software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. You will also have significant opportunities to lead exploratory research and develop innovative AI-driven solutions from the ground up

Responsibilities Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions to support semiconductor product development, validation, yield optimization, and manufacturing efficiency. Design, code, and maintain software programs, algorithms, and automated pipelines to cleanse, integrate, and analyze large, unstructured datasets from multiple disparate sources. Collaborate cross-functionally with subject matter experts across engineering, product, and service teams to understand domain challenges and translate them into data science solutions
