Your main focus will be on on-machine software development for electron beam-based additive manufacturing systems, primarily using C#/.NET and Python, as well as PLC programming to support machine functionality and future technology development.<br>This role is ideal for a hands-on software engineer who enjoys working close to the machine, combining application software, industrial communication, and controls-related development in an advanced manufacturing environment. This role is based in Mölndal, Gothenburg, and we offer a hybrid working model with up to two home-office days per week.<p></p><p></p><h1><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Job Description</b></span></h1><p><b>Roles and Responsibilities</b></p><p>In this role, you will:</p><ul><li>Develop and enhance our EBM (Electron Beam Melting) on-machine software products in close collaboration with Product Management, Engineering leadership, and other software teams.</li><li>Design, build, test, and maintain Windows-based machine software primarily in C#/.NET.</li><li>Develop and maintain Siemens PLC code in TIA Portal to support machine control and future machine technology developments.</li><li>Contribute to software solutions used for process control, as well as pre-processing and post-processing of data relevant to the additive manufacturing process.</li><li>Define and implement robust and scalable client-server interfaces and asynchronous communication mechanisms.</li><li>Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team to refine requirements, develop technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software increments.</li><li>Create and maintain technical documen
